james
James grew up in Yonkers, New York, just outside the Bronx, where hard work and service were part of daily life. His father was a police sergeant serving Harlem and the Bronx, and his mother worked as an ER nurse. James was also introduced early to the world of construction through his family’s seasonal business installing large-scale Christmas trees for cities and institutions across the New York metropolitan area. Watching crews transform public spaces with cranes, trucks, and careful coordination sparked his lifelong passion for building.
Through that business, James stepped into leadership roles managing large-scale installations across the country and internationally. Those projects required precision, collaboration with city planners and organizations, and a commitment to delivering work that had to be right the first time. The experience shaped his approach to every project: clear communication, dependable timelines, and pride in craftsmanship.
James moved to Portland in 1998 to attend Portland State University, where he studied Marketing, Management, and Advertising and met his wife, Karen, a Portland native and later welcomed two kids - Waverly and Baker. In 2020 he founded Oregon Contracting, bringing decades of hands-on experience and a passion for transforming spaces.

Brandon grew up in California and Idaho where he developed an early appreciation for working with his hands and spending time outdoors. His passion for building and creating eventually led him into the construction industry, where he enjoys bringing ideas to life and helping craft spaces that people can enjoy for years to come.
Brandon later made his way to Portland, Oregon, where he met his wife, Marissa. Together they've built a busy and fun-loving family life with their two sons, Grasyn and Foster. They share their home with two dogs and a cat, making for a lively household.
Outside of work, Brandon spends as much time as possible outdoors and with his family. Growing up near the ocean sparked a lifelong love of surfing and skateboarding and he also enjoys snowboarding whenever he gets the chance. Whether it's camping, exploring the Pacific Northwest, or working on creative building projects, Brandon enjoys staying active and finding new ways to create and explore.
